UK Rapper Young Thug’s album cover came avalible this August with an interesting image album cover and track name ‘Harambe’ rightly named after the recent killing of a gorilla after saving a baby on May 28, 2016. (More infomation on this here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Harambe)
The album artwork named best of the year by TheHundreds.com (http://thehundreds.com/blog/glp-young-thug-interview-jeffery-cover) is below:
I listen to alot of music of this particular genre, I saw the album artwork and was shocked at how it was shot and used. Studio softly lit straight forward portrait shot of Young Thug in a bazzare dress and hat. White backdrop and a blue fade floor which i can only assume is done in post or finished up in post. The dress also keeps in line with this colour scheme going off on a gradiant from blue to (not fully) white.
The photographer is called: Garfield Larmond, also goes by the name GLP/Who is GLP.
